Anna Marie had been talking to Sarah for quite some time about laser hair removal. She had investigated and found each treatment would run between $500 to $1000 and take six months of treatments to get the desired results. She was tired of shaving, waxing and the creams. She wanted a permanent solution that wasn't so expensive and time consuming.

Anna Marie hadn't tested a product for some time, the last one was the cellulite removal system, and she was very pleased with the results. I began doing research and in a week I found a promising product. Tria Beauty had a permanent Laser Hair Removal System and it seemed hi-tech and could be done at home. I read the FAQ and knew the Laser Hair Removal wand was right for her. She liked the idea that it would get permanent results. We talked about it and I ordered the system.

Anna Marie is beach fanatic and she wanted to stop shaving her bikini line and had some problems with hair growth on her upper lip and the back of her jaw line. We felt that these were perfect areas to work on for her. We decided we didn't really need pictures, besides Sarah might have killed me, and the results would be easy to track.

The Tria Beauty Laser Hair Removal System came and it really was high-tech looking. The whole package was very professional, with instructions and a FAQ sheet. we read both because we wanted results and be able to use the system safely. We reread the section that stated that people with a dark complexion (black) and those with blonde, red or gray hair wouldn't get good results. Also one hic cup in Anna Marie's plan was that the FDA hadn't approved the system for the face. We talked and thought she should try it on the bikini area the first month, then if she was comfortable she could use it on the other two areas.

The whole Laser Removal system was very professional, after charging you had to call Tria Beauty to unlock the wand for the first time. They wanted to make sure you understood how to use it safely and effectively. I later found out you could unlock it by going online. The wand is so simple to use I thought it was overkill. You first have to test yourself.  You place the skin sensor on your skin and then turn it on, if it turns green you're ready to go, which we already knew from reading the FAQ. If the light turns red, your skin is too dark and you can’t use it. Dark skin tones can't use Tria, because you have the possibility of getting burned, scarred or blistered.

After unlocking, the wand beeped and we did a patch test on a small area in the bikini area, so she shaved and did the test. The next day no irritation. The instructions stated that you apply the wand to the skin and it will beep when you have good contact and beep again when you are done with the area. If you move on too fast it will buzz. You are supposed to work on one square inch at a time overlapping slightly to make sure you've covered all the hair follicles. It took her a half hour to do her bikini line.

We both thought the whole unlocking thing was overkill. The system is idiot proof when you follow the instructions, the wand will buzz if you mess up. The instructions said for faster results, use the wand twice a month for the first three months. Because your hair grows in cycles and new hair follicles produce hair for three months. Anna Marie said there was no pain for her on setting 3 (3 power settings) and it felt slightly irritating with some warmth but, she said it wasn't bad at all. She started the test.

One Month Result- She had treated the bikini area twice that month. She noticed some hairs falling out and others looked like they were about to come out. She was pleased with the first months results.

Two Month Result- Anna Marie again treated the bikini area twice that month and decided to do the bak of her jaws and the upper lip area. The bikini area continued to have hair falling out and other hairs were much shorter like they were dying. The jaw area and upper lip had already had hair falling out and the rest of the hair was very fine. She said it was looking much better.

Three Month Result- She again had treated the bikini area and the jaw, and upper lip twice. She had noticed that midway through the month that alot of hair had fallen out. She had very little regrowth of new hair in the bikini area. Her jaw area and upper lip had no new hair growth, just some fine, fine hair. She was psyched, better results than expected.

Four Month Result- Anna Marie had only treated the areas once in the middle of the month. There was just a few new hairs in the bikini area and none on the jaw and upper lip area, and fewer fine hairs. She decided to thr recommended minimum of five months.

Five Month Result- She had again treated the areas in the middle of the month. There was no new hair growth and less of the fine hairs appearing. She felt the Tria Laser Hair Removal system had lived up to the promise.

She decided to stop the treatments, because there was no need. She is thinking of new areas to treat as it was so easy and took so little effort and time to do the treatments. She will do the recommended follow up treatments once every six months.

Anna Marie felt the whole thing was idiot proof and very professional. She was very pleased with the results especially having taken only three months to get the majority of the results. The whole process of treatments was easy and took no time at all. Anna Marie felt the results were fantastic and lived up to the promise, no shaving and permanent hair removal.
